EXTENSIÓN BIKES

I never thought I would start a business - I did not know how to do it, nor did I have the vision. However, things changed as my family and I were going through economic challenges and basic needs became more difficult to meet.

My first challenge was to change my mindset from working for someone else to working as my own boss. It was not easy and I resorted to reading, praying to Our Heavenly Father, taking classes and seeking advice from business experts.

After having a clear company idea, we needed the financial support, so we decided to sell our family van. Our company is called Extensión Bikes, it is a BMX Freestyle brand focused on selling spare parts and clothing for riders.

I have learned that the Lord wants to bless us and give us all His love by supporting our families. However, He expects us to work hard - and obeying the law of tithing is a way that He helps us put our trust in Him. I know that as I obey this greater law I receive many blessings.

The Academy gave me the opportunity to better know myself, to enlarge my mental and physical abilities and to seek and find a better and financially stable income for myself. As we are still in the beginning stages of our company, I am sure that with time we will see the fruits of our hard work. I feel satisfied to have taken this first step, hand in hand with the Lord and the Academy.
