Training Programs
Since 1999, the Academy for Creating Enterprise has provided entrepreneurship education and support for over 109,000 individuals and families of faith around the world. This success is greatly attributed to the structure of the Academy programs. These inspired courses are centered on empowering people in developing countries with principles that will place them firmly on the path of self-reliance.
These principles lead to actions that are sustainable and provide practical ways to generate income - even when students have little or no resources. Each program abides by the principle of doing all things in wisdom and order by tailoring each program to achieve different and distinct milestones on the path of self-reliance.
Though different in nature, each of these programs works strategically and cohesively to empower Academy participants on their path toward self-reliance.
START NOW
The START NOW program helps students begin their journey to the path of self-reliance. The purpose of this program is to implement practical knowledge rather than theoretical knowledge. Each workshop and activity invites participants to act rather than simply learn. As students progress, they are challenged to change their mindsets and modify their behaviors by focusing on action-oriented goals.
Some of these action-oriented goals include trading, leaving comfort zones, building good habits, creating financial plans, and applying the 25 rules of thumb (sound and proven business principles created by Steve Gibson, founder). The program is considered a success when START NOW graduates initiate real, operable income-generating activities (IGAs) or start a business.
ACE My Business
Upon the completion of START NOW Academy graduates have the option to participate in ACE My Business. This training is reserved for members who have completed the milestone of creating their own income-generating activity or business. This curriculum covers more advanced topics such as enterprise mastery vs. self-mastery, employee management, expansion, marketing, finances, etc.
Upon completion of the START NOW training, an individual is designated as a member and granted lifelong access to additional education, and training, as well as, the continued friendship of their chapter support group.
Workshops
Academy workshops are specialized business courses that grant certificates upon completion of the course. The topics covered by these courses are requested by local chapter leadership.
