Gina Gambol is a single mother of two children - a thirteen-year-old daughter, and a six-year-old son who struggles with physical disabilities. She owns a Wholesale and Retail store in Sagay called
“GGE HERBAL PRODUCTS TRADING”.
Gina decided to participate in Start Now to learn more about growing her business. The course helped to expand her marketing and inventory vision.
80% of the population in Gina’s area, more specifically in the mountains of Sagay, listen to the radio. During the pandemic, Gina decided to advertise her store on the local radio station. This marketing strategy attracted many resellers to her store to buy supplies.
Gina also made an innovative product change - she introduced Virgin Coconut Oil in capsule form. This change has increased sales as it is a form of VCO that many people prefer in both simplicity and taste.
Initially, Gina’s store had one glass case of supplements. Now, after participating in Start Now, setting goals, and applying what she learned, Gina has expanded her business to selling medical supplies at three separate locations
She is grateful for the Academy and for her children who inspire her to continually push herself to keep moving forward.
