The Academy expands into Nigeria!

New members are provided an opportunity towards sustainable self-reliance

As of July, the Academy for Creating Enterprise operates in Nigeria, Africa! With 270 new members and 10 brand new chapter support groups, Executive Director Robert Heyn and Ghana Regional Coordinator Frank Anno witnessed powerful collective growth as they trained and set-up in-house leadership across the country.

The Academy enters the country at a critical time as many of its individuals currently face difficult economic situations even if they have a job. Membership with the Academy provides a proven pathway towards sustainable self-reliance. As Frank and Robert conducted two START NOW training sessions and opened areas for the Academy in Nigeria, Frank desired to share with the members what the Academy provided for him only a year before in Ghana. Frank expressed, “I wanted them to know what I know. I have learned and applied [Academy principles] to my business. This is what you can do–[implement] small business principles. Start Now gives direction.”

We’re grateful for the direction and potential of Academy membership in Nigeria. The work of providing a pathway for sustainable self-reliance continues!
