The Academy helped me broaden my vision. It made me see that confectionery is not just about doing something you love—it also involves a lot of study in other areas. I learned that it’s possible to start a business from scratch, and even though I’m still small, deep inside, I already see myself as big and capable of becoming more than I can imagine. The knowledge I gained from the course gave me the strength I needed to start, even with nothing.
Being a confectionery entrepreneur comes from hard work and studying. Starting Confeitaria_elizcake did not come naturally. The love of confectionery came naturally, but other parts of the business? Not so much. Through the Academy, I was able to broaden my vision and see that studying would help me take my business to the next level. Although the business is still small, I know I am capable of growing it. I am thankful for the knowledge and strength to start Confeitaria_elizcake from scratch through taking the Academy course.
